    1:30 PM – Arrive at the Crater of Diamonds State Park and mine for diamonds. Yes, mine for diamonds that you can take home.

  • Are you bringing a spouse or guest to the banquet?
    Use this if you didn't add your spouse or guest in your registration. If they are not participating in any conference meals or training sessions and only attending the banquet, then the fee is $50.
    Banquet dress is business casual or class A agency uniform.

Next year Arkansas State Parks will be hosting our annual training conference at Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View Arkansas about 2 hours north of Little Rock.

9 AM - 3 PM – Board of Directors Meeting – PLEA Executive Board and Board Members. Open to all PLEA members.

3:00 PM - 6:00 PM – Early Arrival Activity

4:00 AM -7:00 PM – Registration in Cabin office.

6:00 PM - 10:00 PM – Networking Social – Cabin Office

Tuesday, March 2

6:30 AM -7:45 AM- Breakfast

7:00 AM - 7:45 AM – Registration and Meet & Greet – Administration office lobby.

8:00 AM – Opening Ceremonies. Welcome by PLEA President and Host Agency.  Administration office/small auditorium.

8:30 AM - 10:30 AM – Archaeological Theft – Brandon Bland – U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service – Administration/small auditorium.

10:30 AM – Morning Break

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM – Norfork National Fish Hatchery – Administration/small auditorium.

Field Trip Day to Blanchard Springs Caverns and Norfork National Fish Hatchery

7:45 AM Meet at the Cabin Office for bus transportation. Please be on time as we have a tight schedule to keep.   

5:00 PM - Arrive back at Ozark Folk Center State Park.

6:30 PM - 8:30 PM – Awards Banquet – The Skillet Restaurant.  Dinner is Provided.

8:30 PM - 10:00 PM – Networking Social – Cabin Office

Thursday, March 4
